i've decided make a clean break and start again on livejournal. i miss when it was fun to write about what i was doing, instead of it just feeling like a chore. i think moving to a new journal and trimming down my friends list is a good way of motivating myself to write. if only because it doesn't feel like i have a huge audience that i need to entertain anymore.

i should probably write something about myself, huh! well, a lot of people call me itazura -- although some people shorten it to "ita" so feel free to call me that if you'd like. i'm really into japanese music and video games, although i'm a little more passionate about video games really -- especially shumps, old-school platformers and role playing games. i also enjoy drawing, but it's pretty much limited to just using a tablet and oekaki bbs. i don't draw that often on paper. there's a lot more stuff i enjoy, but it's probably best to just get the "main" things mentioned first. hopefully i'll post quite often and write about the rest of them in the future!

after considerable amounts of thought, i've decided to lock everything i post in this journal as friends only. i'm quite private and like to know who's reading what i write about. not that i'm against getting to know new people! if you'd like to become friends, just leave a comment on this entry.
